First of all, to help more and more children get the medical care they urgently need.
Every project is born from a dream: to make a child fly towards a concrete possibility of healing, to build solidarity networks that cross borders and unite hearts.
But dreams, to become reality, need to be planned. And so the Flying Angels Foundation projects are born: concrete paths, designed to multiply the good, with the aim of guaranteeing every seriously ill child the right to treatment.
Here you will find our projects: those that we have built through experience or because we have identified a specific need and that we are carrying forward with passion, vision and commitment.
Pediatric Cardiac Emergencies
Let their hearts fly
A project entirely dedicated to children with serious heart disease. When a child's heart is in danger, we make sure that they can receive the urgent care they need, in their country or in a specialized hospital around the world.
More than 50% of the children we help suffer from congenital heart disease for which they cannot find treatment in their country.
We save lives heart by heart, organizing air transfers and timely medical care in hospital centers of excellence.
Right to health for all children
In flight - right to health
A three-year project, divided into four key actions, to ensure life-saving travel for children and medical care but also increase our impact.
Arranging life-saving travel: We finance flight tickets and coordinate transfers.
Expand the solidarity network in order to strengthen the Flying Angels community.
Optimize case management: We digitize processes, improve case management.
Measuring and reporting the impact: we report the social value generated.
Integrated International Medical Missions
R-Evolving wings. Medical care beyond borders
A project that unites two souls and creates a double movement of care: brings skills where they are needed and brings children where they can heal.
First part of the year: Specialized medical teams fly to countries where expertise and interventions are needed.
Second part of the year: The children identified during the missions, with pathologies too complex to be treated locally, fly to Italy.
And when there is no time? There is the Flight Emergency Fund
Not all cases submitted to us fall within the projects. Some lives need help immediately, now, now. This is why the Emergency Flight Fund exists, an always-active tool that allows us to respond promptly to the most serious health emergencies or to complete the collection for the child when the amount cannot be reached in time for departure.
All collection activities that go beyond projects or the financing of individual flights converge in this fundamental operational tool.

Transparency is important to us
Flying Angels Foundation’s main goal is to protect the right of healthcare for seriously ill children and, in concrete terms, to purchase air tickets to allow them access to the necessary facilities for treatment as well as medical teams to travel and operate locally, where the need is greater.
